I love
to adorn the animals with clay and use
the medium decoratively in the form of ruffles in breeds of dogs or cats
that lend themselves to this kind of embellishment; collies,
springers, golden retrievers, chows; furry cats such
as
Himalayans or Angoras and mixed breeds of dogs and cats. The clay can be
extruded into fine strands that give
a hairy texture to the
lion's manes, poodles, Airedales, and the like. Sometimes I apply clay
slurry to accentuate
the ruff of the rabbits. Clay texture
can be varied and versatile and I take full advantage of its ability to
emulate
the best qualities of each animal.

Pastel
Colors:
Color is fun! The sitting rabbits, pig banks, miniature
horses and
miniature elephants may be done in your color
preference; with polka dots, with colored glazes applied randomly,
or in solid pastels. You decide.
Please Note: Neither fish (turtles, frogs,
etc.) fowl or people are
included in my repertoire. Many
other creatures are available.
